Putting up the Maypole in Schwangau

The maypole is a decorated tree or tree trunk which is ceremoniously placed on the village square on the 1st of May. This has been a tradition in Bavaria for decades and is festively celebrated with dance, music and beer.

Get to know the history of Füssen on a walk! Especially in the evening this guided tour through the romantically illuminated old town centre is a dreamlike experience. Without registration!

Costs: adults with FüssenCard 3 € / without FüssenCard 5 €. Children up to and 14 years, free of charge, teenagers between 15 and 17 years 1,50 €.

Trade Fair in Füssen

The fair WIR/WE in Füssen is the fair for industry, trade, handicraft and service. More than 110 exhibitors present their products and services from all sectors at the WIR trade fair. The fair is a mixture of an exhibition and a varied supporting and children’s programme with raffles and competitions.
